ITZY is a South Korean girl group formed by JYP Entertainment.
The group debuted on February 12, 2019, with their single album "IT'z Different" and its lead track "Dalla Dalla".
Known for their confident, bold concepts, the group quickly became a major force in the K-pop industry, with a unique blend of energetic performances, empowering lyrics, and strong personalities. ITZY's music often focuses on themes of self-confidence, independence, and empowerment, resonating particularly with younger audiences.

Achivements:
- Itzy became the first K-pop group to achieve a "Rookie Grand Slam" by winning major awards such as Rookie of the Year at the MAMA Awards, Golden Disc Awards, and Seoul Music Awards in their debut year.
- Their debut song "Dalla Dalla" broke records as one of the fastest debut music videos to surpass 100 million views on YouTube. And it remains the most viewed K-pop debut music video within the first 24 hours with an impressive 17.1 milion views.
- "Dalla Dalla" also earned them their first platinum certification for exceeding 100 milion streams in Korea, the first K-pop debut song to do so since certifications began in 2018.
- ITZY has tied TWICE's record as the K-pop girl group with the most entries on the Billboard 200, with seven consecutive albums, including "GUESS WHO".

Yeji graduated from Jeonju Commercial Information High School. She trained at JYP for three years before debuting in ITZY in 2019. During her audition for JYP, she impressed the staff with her freestyle dancing abilities, performing Like Ooh-Ahh by TWICE and completing several improvisation rounds.
Known for her dynamic stage presence, Yeji has a distinctive "hidden weapon" title bestowed by JYP’s Junho due to her versatile talents. She also has a strong visual appeal and a unique facial expression style, which made her stand out during auditions.
Yeji debuted her first solo song, Crown on My Head, which was released on January 8, 2024 as part of ITZY's album "Born to Be". This marked a major milestone in her career.
Yeji is widely recognized as ITZY's main dancer and has demonstrated her prowess through various performances. She was featured as Studio Choom's Artist of the Month, where she performed a solo dance piece. While preparing, she shared that the process was both challenging and rewarding, as it was her first time performing solo choreography for over two minutes whithout her team.
